Hey everybody, my name's KerianH. I've noticed that there are a lot of great mods out there, but some of the ones I enjoy playing don't have as much voice acting as of yet. So, given that I want to become a professional voice actor, what better way to earn my stripes than to provide my services to the modding community?

I do a variety of different voices, and have some skill in acting (having done a pretty good job in plays and other programs when I was younger). I like to consider myself very good in making inhuman voices, and in doing evil characters. Given that my natural voice is higher pitched for a male's, I can also do young hero characters if necessary.

Also, I only work a part time job with little other obligations, and I have a Blue Snowball Microphone that I bought specifically for voices, so feel free to ask me of my services if you want them! I'll be posting regular voice samples on my Moddb page, as well as on my youtube channel, so give it a look-see when you have the opportunity!

Current Voice samples:

Voice Sample - Orks - Mod DB

Voice Sample - Inquisitor Judge - Mod DB

Voice Sample - God of Death - Mod DB

My Sample Playlist - Youtube.com
I will regularly update this thread with new and/or updated content whenever it is available. Send me a PM if you are interested. Until

I do, but given that I'm pretty paranoid about the internet I tend to keep it to myself until I know the person wanting to contact me.

Why'd you ask?

Some good stuff here. I hope you don't mind me giving some advice.

Don't talk in your demos unless you're doing a voice or giving your name. Also, never give excuses.

When you yell, you are clipping pretty extensively (volume is peaking and you're losing audio data, which sounds bad). Watch your levels and look into signal processing like compression or limiting.

Hey thanks! Yeah, the Ork one's pretty old. I wouldn't have included it but it was the only voice sample I happened to have online. I'm hoping on working on some more this week...

What Obsidia said :)

Also, be weary of placing your voice lower than you have capacity for. In a good few cases of the inquisitor it sounded like you forced depth into it, and made him sound unnatural in a strained way.

I kinda liked the sound of the orc (outside of the clipping) and the God of death, especially the character in the orc felt well practiced :)

Yeah, the inquisitor's more of a gag voice. I have voices that I take seriously and voices that I have for gags but I want to develop them into better character. Oddly enough, the voices that break my throat are the ones I'm really good at.
