Space game in need of a name Thread

I am Tyler and I am 17 years old. I have been learning C++ over the last few months and I am also working on creating a game that i hope will rival already established space MMOs one day such as EVE Online.

Hi Tyler,

1) A Thesaurus is a great tool for naming. There are plenty online. If you type [space] it might list cosmos, universal, galactic, solar, void etc. You can apply this to any word.

So... Space Invaders: Dark Space might translate to Cosmic Corsairs From The Lightless Void.

2) Convention or not ???

a) Conventional >> use the Theme/Genre/Setting/no of players,etc. : Combat Blasters Space MMO

b) Artefactual >> After important artifacts/elements in the Game: Thorium, Fission Coil, Space Station Zues.

c) Enemy/Storyline >> The Callium Masters, Slavers of Oerth, Toms Intergalactic Debut.

I did not think of using a thesaurus. I will experiment using the different methods you proposed.

Ooh. I wanna try to help you with the name thing, naming stuff is fun. Just wish to know more about it other than "space game"
