Lost Alpha: can't continue the story Thread

So, Yesterday evening I was playing LA, when at a certain time it's crashed, it's crashed during a loading phase of the new portal sector (when you get the message "move to the next level?" After I reboted the game, the save was not more function, and now I'ts crashed always before the diciture "press any key", during the Game resource syncro.

I tried to reinstall completely the game like 3 times, deleted the file user.txl, runned as admin, but nothing seems to work, the only way to continue to play with this game is to start a new game, that I'll not do.

I don't have changed the control buttons, all the things remained as defalut. I'm really frustated right now, cause I don't wanna restart all the game, but instead, I'm really tempted to unistall all.

Can you have suggestion or solution for this boring thing?

Have you patched the Lost Alpha to the latest version? Have you tried installing some of the unoffical fixes on the official Lost Alpha forums?

I am having the same kind of problem! I am told to take documents to barkeep, but the location for barkeep doesn't exist.

There is nothing at the location but a building with no entrance? Walked around the building until blue in the face.

Can anyone help?

Do you see the location of where the barkeep is located on the map? If so, maybe you're not in the right spot? I had a hard time finding the entrance to the bar, myself.

Yes, the location is marked. It looks like there are a lot of people below ground. (yellow dots)

Yes, the bar is hard to find. At the indicated location there is nothing. You are still above ground. Pick up the road signs 'bap' (cyrillic spelling for 'bar'). One will lead you to a closed door, but look for another and eventually, after weaving your way through quitte a number of buildings, you come to the bar. Pfff.....

I must have installed incorrectly!

Please go thru steps to install all 4 parts.

do you use each setup independently after extraction from *.rar file?

do you overwrite other files if asked?
