Looking to join a mod team or a dev team Thread

Hi! My name is Sunjit. I am looking to make games with a mod team or dev team because I want to work in the game industry. I don't have much experience in making games except that I did a course in Digital Animation. That's why I wanted to join a mod team or dev team to gain experience in this field so I can work in this industry. I can animate in Maya, my drawing is not bad. I'm no artist, but I am around a few of them for my project, but I don't need their perspective to give you feedback, and from what you linked, your art needs significant improvement.

I'm sorry, but if you applied to my volunteer project with that, I'd have to turn you away.

If you want to be an artist in the industry, then you have a lot of work to do.

(TBH, a person that posts a link to a demo real that doesn't work doesn't get a 2nd chance. If not on moddb, then you think a company will chase you down because you provided them a broken link to your demo/ portfolio?

Nope, they'll shake their heads, consider you a waste of their time, and feel slightly better about the next applicant.

The best you did is gave the interviewer a dumb story to add to their experience when sharing "Facepalms" for recruiting.
