I finished the novels set in MY version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Yeah. Part One and Part Two. This ain't your tame GSC Stalker thing..
Anyway...they are up at Amazon as Print on Demand...and as E-books. Soon, I will be up with SmashWords...meaning Apple, Nook, Barnes and Noble...and all the other companies that fought Amazon in court and won.

Now...I guarantee that anyone who reads even half of Part One will see the possibilities for Game Play across a hostile Zone that makes Stalker, GSC and the rest seem like pale shadows in the noon-day sun.
Try it and see for yourselves. And I OWN the copyrights and the DRM. Being an old-time modder who worked with Doug Lombardi at Valve in the H-L days...I would love to see folks in the Mod community come together and build a game from these. But like I said...check the novels and storyline out for yourselves...

On April 25-26, 1986, a test of Plant # 4's reactor core at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Facility led to the worst nuclear power plant disaster in history. Many factors, from faults in the reactor design...to repeated human errors...began a cascade of events that are still felt today in the Ukraine and elsewhere.
A 4,300-plus square kilometer area around the Chernobyl facility was designated as an Exclusion Zone within two years. Along the Southern Boundary, are the five South Zone Settlements, boom-towns where anything can be had for a price.
Contained inside the military-patrolled borders of "The Zone"...is a world of speculation, misinformation and the unknown. It is a savage place... where criminals of all stripes, bandits, mercenaries, heavily-armed militant Factions and others...vie for control...for money....for survival.
The Russian Military has another name for the Zone, a very apt one.
The Zone of Alienation.
Mutation has altered and changed the creatures within the Zone, producing deadly mutants, both above ground and below.
Anomalous areas create strange artifacts worth small fortunes on the black markets of Europe. Endowed with differing properties across a wide spectrum of effects, many of these artifacts are also deadly in their own right.
Intelligence agencies have also come to the Zone in force. These covert agencies have brought their own agendas and ruthlessly pursue them with every tool at their disposal, from bribery and intimidation...to outright murder. There is a great prize to be had...the secrets of an on-going, massive covert operation...Pandora.
Those who control Pandora, control a path to untold riches and power.
But now another player has appeared. An intelligent species that pre-dates mankind and whose preferred prey is humans. The Krailiaki, vicious predators that have been pushed into hiding with the rise of Mankind to dominance on the planet are going to strike back. They are going to wage war on the humans of the Zone.
Until his escape during the Chernobyl disaster when electrical power was cut off to the nearby research base... one of the Krailiaki Elders was a captive of Petrosky and horrendous surgical procedures took something from the creature that has all Krailiaki ready for war to avenge one of the worst crimes imaginable to a Krailiak.
But now another player has appeared. An intelligent species that pre-dates mankind and whose preferred prey is humans. But Petrosky’s hated enemy, Jarrod McKenzie, has resources and allies of his own and is ready when General Petrosky initiates a major military operation at a former KGB River Base.
