Hey IndieDB,
I was trying to post articles written about our game Runbow from a few major publications, but they have not yet gone up in our FEATURES section. I'm assuming this is because they were rejected.

Is there a different way to share press with the community here that I am not aware of? If so, what's the point of the forum section so I may use it better?

Thanks for your help!

Dave

Hey,

your feature articles from your Company page are not visible on your game page because they weren't directly added/linked through your game profile page: Indiedb.com

They have been linked with your game profile now.

Also noteworthy, reviews/interviews and articles reposted from other gaming networks (about your game) have very low priority here - and normally they cannot be featured on the front page, in any case. To mention as well, articles have to be always connected to their relevant game/mod page in order to be frontpaged (not just the company page; that's one of the basic requirements).

Ah, that makes tons of sense, thank you. Also thank you for going out of your way to do that. I wasn't super clear on how to include the game as one of the posts.

Is it okay to still link the features, even if they won't be frontpaged? Or what is the intended purpose of the features section if not to write about features on your game?

Thank you again for your help,
Dave

Features is more for feature articles, like those by the site staff.

You may be better listing your games features in a news post as you show off the features in images or video, that way you have more chance to hit the front page.

You can check my guide here for other tips.
