One thing that's been really annoying me lately is people uploading random addons on mod pages like Sven Co-op for example.

So I've been thinking that Moddb should put in some kind of personal Addon filter with options like:

*Show addons from developers of the mod.

*Show addons by the community.

*Show addons with a positive score

*Show addons with a negative score

*Show addons with more than 10 downloads

*Show addons with more than 100 downloads

*Show addons with more than 1000 downloads

*Show addons with more than 10000 downloads

*Show addons with more than 10 votes

*Show addons with more than 100 votes

*Show addons with more than 1000 votes

*Show addons with more than 10000 votes

Feel free to post your opinion about this.

Sorry if I'm posting this in the subforum, if I did then feel free to move this to the right subforum.

When it comes to mods, Oblivion and Skyrim are the two games where I trawled through 100's of player Mods [Skyrim Nexxus].

I was certainly beyond impressed, however poorly executed mods are very annoying whether buggy or a cloned outfit with a splash of paint on it.

The difficulty with moderating Mods however is that poor quality work, is where every designer starts their hobby. And bad reviews of your work, can be immensely helpful. When a designer knows they did not make the effort and the review matches up it can be transformative, catalytic experience.

Personally, I find score-sheets the best indicator >> rated 7.6 out of 10 by 33 people.

5 star systems aren't good enough for critical viewpoints. And popularity, as in the number of downloads can be manipulated by social networking.

I would like to be able to weed out the truly undeserving, yet any system that tried to could close a door on the Newcomer who will later amaze us and that just aint no good.
