FusionPlay GmbH is an Indie developer and micro-publisher located in Leipzig, Germany. As developers of unique new game experiences, the team combines real elements with digital applications to create breathtaking new VR experiences. As a publisher, FusionPlay cares for porting and publishing indie games from regional studios. FusionPlay develops, ports and publishes for PC, Nintendo Switch, Meta Quest and Sony PlayStation 4, 5, VR and VR2. FusionPlay is a member of the game – German games association.

History

FusionPlay was created in 2012 as a brand of IT Sonix to develop the first NFC card game which is now named "FusionPlay Heroes". In 2016 "Konrad the Kitten", a second project, was added to the development.

In 2020, FusionPlay ported and published "pixelBOT EXTREME!" for PlayStation 4.

One year later, FusionPlay ported and published "Potion Party" for PlayStation 4.

Later in 2020 started the production of Across the Valley, the new VR game from FusionPlay.

In 2021 the game department with the brand FusionPlay was transformed into an own legal entity: FusionPlay GmbH

From that point, FusionPlay was an own company with a pure focus on games.

In early 2022, the Pixel Party Bundle combined pixelBOT EXTREME! and Potion Party in one Bundle for PS4 / PS5.

In January 2023, pixelBOT EXTREME! will be brought to Nintendo Switch.

In spring 2023, the new VR title "Across the Valley" will be released for PS VR2 and PC VR.

Two more games are currently in production but have not been announced yet.
